- Cancel your NAU housing through Housing & Residence Life for spring semester if you signed a year contract with NAU in the fall. For the petition to terminate housing contract and most up to date cancellation policies click here.
- Cancel your NAU dining plan for spring if you signed up for an academic year meal plan: http://nau.edu/dining/
All students who study abroad are required to attend our Pre-Departure Orientation . We hold Pre-Departures towards the end of every Fall and Spring semester, and you will attend one based on which term you are going abroad. Check out our Pre-Departure Handbook.

Pre-Departure Orientation DatesThis meeting is mandatory for any student studying abroad. YOU MUST ATTEND! The location of pre-departure
orientation and set times of sessions will be emailed to all students shortly. Parents are welcome to attend.
WHAT: This session is for students going abroad for Summer 2019 (non-faculty led), Fall 2019, & AY 2019-20
WHEN: Saturday, April 27
WHERE: WA Franke College of Business, Bldg. 81
All students studying abroad are required to attend a Pre-Departure Orientation.
Summer faculty-led programs hold separate pre-departure orientations--please contact the Education Abroad Advisor for the specific time and place. Summer faculty-led students should attend the Meet & Greet at the International Pavilion.
All other students attending summer and fall programs must attend the relevant region-specific meeting, followed by the Meet & Greet where you can get to know other students going on your program, hear from our alumni panel on what to expect and pack, and celebrate the adventure you're about to take!
Please note: students studying in Africa or the Middle East are not required to attend this orientation. A separate orientation will be organized. You are still highly encouraged to attend the pizza party at the IP.
